The Edge FLEX XC 3401 Conversion Adapter allows you to use convenient, double-sided Edge pads with your FLEX Xc 3401 VRG Polisher! The adapter attaches easily and provides you with the versatility of the entire Edge line of foam and wool pads. The Edge FLEX XC 3401 Conversion Adapter works with all sizes of Edge double-sided foam pads.

The Edge FLEX XC 3401 Conversion Adapter brings together two of the greatest innovations in detailing: the Edge 2000 System and the FLEX XC 3401 Orbital Polisher. Now you can use the entire Edge pad collection with the FLEX polisher. This conversion adapter opens up a vast array of pad options, from wool to foam, from 4 inches to 8 inches.

The Edge FLEX XC 3401 Conversion Adapter replaces the FLEX factory backing plate. The adapter consists of a sturdy molded plastic plate with a central steel plate and threaded post. Screw the adapter onto the FLEX and then screw the Edge connector onto the adapter. Now you can pop any Edge pad onto the FLEX machine!

Just like the conventional Edge adapter, the conversion adapter maintains perfect balance of the Edge pad as it orbits on the polisher. The adapter is made of chrome-plated solid brass with a stainless steel internal release mechanism. Pads lock into place on the spring-loaded HexLoc anchor and stay perfectly balanced as you work. To switch pads, press the release button. Once you have the Edge FLEX XC 3401 Conversion Adapter installed, it works just like a conventional Edge adapter.
