The Altec Turismo Carbon Fiber Designer Frame is made of tough polycarbonate (the same as all Altec frames) to simulate the look of carbon fiber. The design looks like hundreds of woven carbon fiber threads that appear in various shades of black and silver for a 3D quality. It’s actually indestructible polycarbonate with a graphic etched from the underside to protect it from the elements. 
The frame and lens cover are actually one continuous piece of polycarbonate. There is no gapping between the cover and the frame, and its impossible for moisture or debris to get under the lens cover. Your license plate will look clean and crisp with the sharp, carbon fiber design surrounding it.
The cover comes with stainless steel screws and coordinating screw caps.Each Turismo license plate frame includes two extra screw caps in case a cap is lost. A die-cut rubber pad around the perimeter of the frame will protect your vehicle’s paint from the edges of the license plate. The frame will look fantastic next to any color paint, but especially silver and black.
