Sadly, even some microfiber towels have caused their share of accidental scratches. How does this happen? After numerous washings, the thread that binds the edge of the towel may shrink, making the edges of the towel less soft, sometimes exposing hardened stitching. Prevent this from happening by using the The Guzzler. The distinct mint green color and darker satin edge will signify a safe, scratch-free shine! This product is constructed of the finest quality microfibers with an outstanding 80/20 blend of polyester/polyamide filament, woven so densely they boast over 220,000 strands of fiber per square inch of fabric! These strands are nearly invisible to the naked eye, and are 100 times smaller than a human hair! Some microfiber products available on the market are offered in a flat" weave, a consistency that actually repels water, making them useless for automotive drying. The Guzzler is manufactured with a unique process known as splitting", which refers to the method by which the polyester (the scrubbing fiber) is split" from the polyamide (the absorbing and quick drying fiber). This is a costly procedure that results in a product that boasts amazing absorbing ability. These quality waffle weave products are actually 20% plusher than our standard microfiber towels for even more moisture absorption! To save on production costs while maintaining a high quality fabric, the Cobra Guzzler microfiber was manufactured in Korea and cut and sewn in China. The Korean company uses a splitting machine to make what the industry calls "ultra microfiber"; that's the soft, highly absorbent microfiber available from Cobra. Once this ultra microfiber is made in huge rolls, it is sent to China to finish the towels. The result is a premium towel at an affordable price. The pros agree that there is nothing more aggravating than scratch marks and water spots. The Guzzler acts like a super chamois, removing these symptoms with ease. The density of this cloth makes it so supple, it is completely non-abrasive, and safe to use on even the most delicate painted and plastic surfaces. Waffle weave care is easy simply toss The Guzzler into your washer with your preferred micro rejuvenator. We recommend that you always wash these waffle weave cloths separately from your other laundry, as the positive static charge will attract the lint in your washer! Never use any type of fabric softener when washing your waffle weave cloth, because it can reduce the positive static charge of the filament, and reduce effectiveness. These cloths can be dried in a dryer on low, however it's not necessary. The cloths are so light they dry in 1/3rd the time of conventional fabric. Korean Microfiber assembled in China.
