If you enjoyed polishing your paint with the original BigFoot polishers, then you are going to love the latest iteration of these ground-breaking machines! The engineers at Rupes took the original design for the LHR 21 & 15 and sought out ways that these already incredibly impressive machines could be improved even further. What they came up with was the Rupes LHR 21 & 15 MARK II! Rupes has imporved many different aspects of both machines to ensure that they are easier to use, more consistent, and generate better results! These improvements include a reinforced housing, and more powerful motor, and better machine balance These changes have made the new series of LHR polishers 30% more efficient than the originals! The increased performance of these polishers is guaranteed to make your paint correcting experience smoother and more enjoyable over-all!
Even the greatest detailers out there drop their polsihers from time to time. It is an inevitability in the detailing world. Because you can’t avoid it, it’s best to get a polisher that is capable of handling the fall. When Rupes developed the Rupes Mark LHR21 Mark II, that had this issue in mind. One of the major improvements made with the new Mark II machines is the reinforced housing they have, which allows them to take quite a beating without any of the interior components being damaged. The new improvements to the body of the Rupes Mark LHR21 Mark II have not affected the smoothness with which it operates. The Rupes Mark LHR21 Mark II still has the same balanced feel and the same 21 millimeter throw as the original LHR21.
The balance and stability of the Rupes Mark LHR21 Mark II was also improved with the addition of rubber inserts in the polisher itself. These inserts allow for a much more comfortable and enjoyable buffing experience. If you ever need to rest your polisher on the hood of the car you are working on, you can do so without fear if you’re using the Rupes Mark LHR21 Mark II. This is due to the rubber tool rest on the top of the machine that allows the tool to be placed pad up on the paint surface without having to worry about cross contamination or ruining the perfect polished surface you just spent hours working on.
Both of the new Mark II machines have improved internal machinery when compared to the originals. The original LHR21 had a starting RPM of 2000, whereas the Rupes Mark LHR21 Mark II has a starting RPM of 2500. A higher starting RPM gives the Rupes Mark LHR21 Mark II more power and torque, allowing the pad even more correcting power than before. Even though the Rupes Mark LHR21 Mark II is more powerful than the original LHR21, it still has the same 500 watt power draw, so you don’t have to worry about your electric bill getting higher with the Rupes Mark LHR21 Mark II.
Every detailer loves new tools and the Rupes Mark LHR21 Mark II is the perfect tool to add to your collection.
