Unlike traditional polishes that rely on harsh VOC solvents, Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer is a gentle, water-based formula that won’t dull or dry your paint. This mild oil-in-water emulsion is ideal for use on expensive finishes, antique, collectible, and show cars, providing a safe and effective cleanse.
This non-abrasive lotion uncovers the like-new gloss of your paint by removing old wax layers and surface impurities. It uses micro-fine fillers to smooth light swirls and scratches, encouraging maximum bonding and shine when followed by Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant or Fuzion Estate Wax.
Hand Application:
- Pour a nickel-size amount of Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer onto a clean microfiber applicator pad. This should be enough to cover a quarter of the hood or half of the fender. Spread the polish across the section in an overlapping motion.
- Allow a slight haze to form. Use a clean microfiber towel to buff the surface to a bright shine.
Machine Application:
- Use a white polishing pad on a dual action polisher, like the Porter Cable 7424XP. If you prefer a softer pad, use a gray finishing pad.
- Apply 3 beads of polish to either the pad or directly to the vehicle surface. With the polisher turned off, spread the product over the surface to avoid splatter.
- Set the maximum speed to 4.5 and work the polish over one panel at a time. When it begins to dry, stop polishing.
- Use a microfiber towel or bonnet to buff away the haze.
- Apply Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 or Wolfgang Fuzion Estate Wax to protect the newly polished paint.
